Why register?

We encourage our readers to register with China.org.cn. Registration allows you to modify and update the open content areas on our site including the China Wiki, China Answers, the City Guide, and the Discussion Forum.

How do I register?

To register, please fill out all the fields on the registration form, make a note of your Member ID and password for future reference, and press "Click to Complete Your Registration." When you have successfully registered, a confirmation screen will be displayed and you will be able to access the protected parts of the site.

Having trouble registering?

If you're having difficulty registering, please read the above instructions for filling out the form. If you have further questions about registration or the site in general, please contact us at editor@china.org.cn.

I've already registered. How do I log on?

If you've already registered, simply enter your ID and password on our Log In page. Look at the right-hand side of the screen for the area labeled SIGN IN. If you've forgotten your ID or password, you can request a password reminder by entering your member ID and email address.

What is a "Verify Code"?

The "Verify Code" is a random security code used by our registration system to check that requests for registration come from human beings and not machines. Please type in the code displayed beside the code box to complete your registration.

Why do we need your e-mail address?

China.org.cn asks you to provide your e-mail address so that we can contact you if you forget your password. We will never share your information or e-mail address without your express permission.
