Harbin Zoo Sends Tigers to the Wild
Adjust font size:

Tiger breeders in northeast China's Harbin city have released more than 30 Manchurian tiger cubs into the wild.

The two-year-old tigers have now resettled in an open area covering nearly 400,000 square meters, where they will sharpen their survival skills in their natural habitat.

Until now, they had been brought up in captivity, and zoo keepers worry that they may have lost their natural predatory instincts.
