Bronze sculptures shown in Anhui

An exhibition of bronze sculptures will be held in Tongling, Anhui province, on Oct 11.
The city of Tongling has a history of more than 3,000 years in bronze smelting.
The selections begun in June drew more than 500 pieces from 20 countries and regions.
Of the 30 pieces selected to be exhibited at The First Session of International Bronze Sculpture Exhibition, roughly half are from overseas countries such as Britain, Canada, Italy and Germany.
They will be displayed in a newly built bronze sculpture garden.
To be held every two years, the exhibition will correspond with China's 11th Session of Bronze Culture Exposition in Tongling that will open on Oct 12.
