China has recently announced the formation of a national pole dancing team in Tianjin. The first batch of team members have been selected by the China Pole Dance Championships, authorized by International Pole Dance Championships, and includes five female athletes, two male athletes and six substitutes.

The team is set to individually compete at the Word Pole Dance Championships, the Pole Dancing Art Competition and the International Pole Dance Championships.

The current International Pole Dance Championships will be held on Nov.10th in Zurich, Switzerland. China's national pole dancing team will send three of its female athletes, Yi Fan, Song Yao, Cao Nuo, and one male athlete- Yan Shaoxuan- to compete.
