The nomination list for the 32nd Hong Kong Film Awards has been unveiled.

The nominations cover 19 different categories.

Lo Chi-leung's detective film "The Bullet Vanishes" and the cop thriller "Cold War" co-directed by Longman Leung and Sunny Luk both have 12 nominations, the most among all nominees.

The new directors will be up against veterans like Dante Lam ("The Viral Factor") and Pang Ho-cheung ("Love in the Buff").

Best Actor nominees include Nick Cheung, Chapman To, Lau Ching-wan, Tony Leung Ka-fai, and Tony Leung Chiu-wai.

Actress Zhou Xun has received a double nomination in the Best Actress category for her performance in both "The Great Magician" and "The Silent War".

The hosts of this year's awards ceremony are Hong Kong actors Jerry Lamb, Gordon Lam, and Ronald Cheng.

Cheng is also nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Pang Ho-cheung's "Vulgaria".

He said, "I am confident, however, my competitors are tough and they're also my good friends. So I don't think it matters who wins. I just hope that Hong Kong films can do well."

Cheng took the Best Supporting Actor award for the same role at last year's Taiwan Golden Horse Awards.

The 32nd Hong Kong Film Awards will be handed out on April 21.
