Synopsis: Mariana, in her 30s, lives with her husband. However, their quiet life is suddenly interrupted and exhausted by their daughter Carmen's sudden terminal illness. Dr. Sitaru finds Mariana and persuades her that he can save Carmen's life by carrying out a surgery, and Mariana finally decides to give it a try. During this period, Mariana discovers that she is pregnant. However, Dr. Sitaru's surgical operation causes Carmen's condition even worsened; despairing Mariana brings Carmen with her and leaves the hospital. On their way home in the car, faint candle flame is flashing.
