'Thor: Ragnarok' continues to dominate Chinese box office

Marvel's "Thor: Ragnarok" continued to dominate the Chinese film market in the week ending Nov. 12, earning 270 million yuan (40.7 million U.S. dollars), China Film News reported Tuesday.

Fox mystery film "Murder on the Orient Express" came in second with 126 million yuan at the box office in its debut week.

Third place went to domestic action film "The Brink," earning nearly 45.5 million yuan since its release on Nov. 10.

"Geostorm" from Warner Bros. landed in fourth place, generating about 40 million yuan in its third week. It has made 420 million yuan since its release on Oct. 27.

Rounding out the top five was domestic film "Seventy-Seven Days," which grossed more than 35.6 million yuan last week.
