The London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is scheduled to appear at China's prime theater, the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), the evening of June 21 in Beijing.

The orchestra, led by world-renowned conductor Gianandrea Noseda, will play "The Noonday Witch, Op. 108" by Czech composer Antonin Dvorak, and "Symphony No. 10 in E minor, Op. 93" by Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich.

It will also work with pianist Yefim Bronfman to bring to the audience "Piano Concerto No. 2 in A major" by Hungarian composer Franz Liszt.

The LSO, founded in 1904, gives 70 symphonic concerts every year as the resident orchestra at the Barbican in London and performs another 70 concerts worldwide on tour.
