'Chinese Modern Film Week' concludes in Warsaw

The five-day "Chinese Modern Film Week" concluded here on Saturday, after bringing 10 Chinese films to Polish movie lovers.

On the last day of the event, an audience of more than 100 watched two Chinese movies, "Looking for Jackie" and "The Secret of Immortal Code".

Jiang Ping, the director of "Looking for Jackie" and vice chairman of China Film Co., Ltd., said in an interview to Xinhua that the 10 films shown in Poland were chosen by the Polish Filmmakers Association from 144 films, and presented the changes in Chinese movies and the lives of Chinese people during the 40 years of reform and opening up.

The other films also screened during the event include "My War", "Xie Yaohuan", "The Mermaid", "Wolf Totem" and "Full Circle".

The event was jointly organized by China Film Co., Ltd. and the Polish Filmmakers Association.
