As the first bookshop opened in the Chinese mainland by Commercial Press (Hong Kong), Benlai bookstore, which officially started business earlier this month in Shenzhen, is not only about delivering a service, but also an attitude.

"Benlai" in Chinese means "origin". What the bookstore wishes to imply in its name is that reading as a practice should go back to the root of knowledge and life - that is, to explore things as they are in their original forms.

Benlai bookstore is an integrated establishment that embodies bookshop, coffee, life aesthetics and cultural experience. It collects quality publications through its global purchasing network, and now the store has over 15,000 foreign language books and almost 3,000 cultural creativity products from Japan, Europe and the US, aiming to provide readers with an experience that has no difference in time or place.

One of the highlights of this bookstore is its specialized building for children's education, in which different themes are set for children in different age groups. Almost 30,0000 types of children's books and over 3,000 educational toys are available, more than half of which come from overseas publishers, creating an international learning environment for children.
