Season 2 of "National Treasure," a popular TV show focused on Chinese cultural relics returned to Chinese television on Sunday.

The new season of "National Treasure," also known as "If Treasures Can Talk," will introduce a total of 27 priceless artifacts. The relics were selected from the collections of nine museums across China, including the Palace Museum.

The series uses a combination of documentary and variety show techniques to bring national treasures to life, with the aim of establishing relatable connections between people and museums.

In each episode, three relics from a museum will be introduced in the form of a short play. Celebrities such as singers and actors were invited as "national treasure guardians," to perform the stories of the relics in each episode.

The show airs every Sunday evening at 19:30 and is available on China Central Television (CCTV)'s entertainment channel, CCTV-3, as well as CCTV's official website, and can also be viewed via streaming sites like Bilibili, iQIYI and Youku.
