Chinese pianist Lang Lang and the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra gave a music performance for over 500 people at the "Winter at Tantora" festival held in a UNESCO world heritage site in Saudi Arabia.

"I think it is marvelous to specially build so many modern tents and a concert hall for eight concerts in a desert without any public facilities".

"Winter at Tantora," ongoing until Feb. 9, is a local music event in Al-Ula.

Besides Chinese musicians, Italian singer Andrea Bocelli, Greek composer Yanni and other musicians were also invited to give performance at the festival.

Organizers of the event said that such a high-level artistic performance will greatly promote the development of the local cultural industry and tourism.
