Russian ballet "Swan Lake" will hit the stage at the Beijing Century Theater from April 27 to May 1.

"Swan Lake" is a classic Russian tragic romance, replete with haunting music and exquisite dance, with an evocative score from well-known composer Tchaikovsky.

It tells a fairy tale about a prince saving Princess Odette from an evil curse that turns her into a swan.

It is to be performed by the Russian State Ballet, which conserves the tradition of classic ballet and is committed to the renaissance of fine Russian ballets.

The ballet has captured the imagination of many generations, and its fairy-tale mystery and romance continues to fascinate audiences worldwide.
