Kazakh singer wins Grand Prix at Slavonic Bazaar in Belarus

Adilkhan Makin, a singer from Kazakhstan won the Grand Prix of the 28th edition of the International Song Contest at the Slavonic Bazaar here on Monday.

Makin took home the Lira award and a cash prize of 20,000 U.S. dollars.

George Putkaradze from Georgia won the First Prize. He earned 15,000 dollars.

Elay from Israel and Belarusian Vanya Zdonyuk shared the Second Prize and 5,000 dollars each.

The Third Prize was shared by the Russian Ivan Dyatlov and the Ukrainian Dmitry Babak.
