A giant wall painting themed on Chinese Miao Embroidery, an intangible cultural heritage of the Chinese Miao ethnic group, showed up in a cultural and creative park of southwest China's Chongqing.

This 10-meter-high wall painting was designed by Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University and drawn by 108POP Studio of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.

The wall painting was inspired by a huge island scene from a mobile game, said Cuihua, one of the creators.

It not only shows the Cyberpunk-style Chongqing, but also integrates Miao embroidery of Chongqing's Pengshui County and modern city culture.

"Elements of Miao embroidery have been added to both the characters' clothing and patterns on the helmets of animal images in the painting, " said Cuihua.
