Beijing Art Theatre for Children will stage a children's play titled Ice-Snow Dream of Bing Dwen Dwen and Shuey Rhon Rhon at the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing from Feb. 18 to 20.

Directed by Wang Bingran and written by playwrights Wang and Zhang Yunxian, the play, inspired by the wide popularity of Bing Dwen Dwen and Shuey Rhon Rhon, the mascots of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, tells the story of a sci-tech panda named Bing Shan Shan and a big lantern named Shuey Nuan Nuan helping children fight against evil power that steals their dreams.

As part of the ongoing 22nd Meet in Beijing International Arts Festival, the children's play was also staged in Beijing’s Capital Library on Feb 12 and 13 and received warm feedback from the young audiences with the participation of Bing Dwen Dwen and Shuey Rhon Rhon.
