(一)Sparkling Original Aspiration

The symphony Sparkling Original Aspiration is adapted by the young composer Yin Tianhu from the theme song of Sparkling Red Star and Remain True to Our Original Aspiration. It employs a rich harmony and percussion rhythm to describe lively, comfortable tones of music. This symphony starts with the soothing sound of the flute which introduces the main melody, played with different wind and string instruments, to present the layers of music. As the mood changes, more and more instruments join the chorus, which culminates in a magnificent climax introduced by percussion instruments.

(二)Movement IV. Farandole

Bizet L'Arlésienne Suite No.2 Movement IV. Farandole

Composed by: Georges Bizet

Farandole

Farandole, part of L'Arlésienne Suite No.2, is a folk dance from Southern France performed by villagers in the third act of the original play. In this dance, male and female dancers form a chain by linking hands, with the lead dancer holding a tambourine for commanding dancers to change steps and formations. It is a lively dance. In this movement, the music builds toward a crescendo, and the tempo grows faster and faster, fully reflecting diverse tones through changes in the strength and speed of an orchestra.
