Ponomaryov VESNA Children's Choir ("Vesna" means "Spring") was founded in 1965 by outstanding musician Aleksander Ponomaryov (1938 – 2012). The choir has been awarded the most prestigious prizes at international competitions. It won the Great European Choral Award "Europe Grand Prix" in 2000 and 2017. The last achievement of the choir is the first prize at the international EBU competition "Let the peoples sing" in Barcelona, 2019. VESNA has performed with its concert programs in 12 countries of Europe, Canada, Japan and China, as well as in about 50 cities and towns of Russia. The Choir's repertoire is wide and varied.
