Airline debt sale

China Southern Airlines Co, the nation's largest carrier, plans to sell 2 billion yuan (US$292 million) of one-year debt to fund operations and repay loans.

The airline will issue the commercial paper next Monday. China Southern will use 40 percent of the proceeds for operations and the remainder to repay bank loans, it said.
