Chinese stocks close lower midday Wednesday

Chinese stocks edged down in the morning session on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.47percent to end at 2,365.57.

The Shenzhen Component Index lost 0.82 percent to end the morning session at 10,033.65.
