Jiangxi Copper Company Limited, one of China's largest metal producer, said on Tuesday that its net profit rose33.47 percent year-on-year to 6.55 billion yuan (1.04 billion U.S. dollars) in 2011.
Business revenue amounted to 117.64 billion yuan, an increase of 53.9 percent from previous year, according to the company's annual report filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Its earnings per share went up 21.15 percent year-on-year to reach 1.56 yuan last year, said the report.
