Refined copper output slows in July from June

China's refined copper production in July declined 6.8 percent month-on-month to 483,000 tons, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Monday.

Refined copper production edged up 0.8 percent from the previous year.

Iron ore output dropped 8.1 percent from June to 115.46 million tons, and is up 10.8 percent year-on-year.

Crude oil production was at 17.03 million tons in July, up 3.2 percent from the previous month and up 1.4 percent from the previous year.

Crude steel output reached 61.69 million tons in July, increasing 2.5 percent month-on-month and 4.2 percent year-on-year.

Meanwhile, primary aluminum production dipped to 1.67 million tons in July, down 0.8 percent from June, but up 6.9 percent compared with last year.
