China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange closed at 2,326.72 points on Monday, down 1.56 points, or 0.07 percent, from the previous close.

A Share Index: 2,435.45 points, down 1.65 points, or 0.07 percent;

B Share Index: 269.66 points, up 0.10 points, or 0.04 percent;

Total Turnover: 85.4 billion yuan (13.62 billion U.S. dollars).
