The Shenzhen Component Index on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange closed at 9,226.64 points on Tuesday, down 0.93 percent, or 86.49 points.

A Share Index: 10,259.41 points, down 96.17 points, or 0.93 percent;

B Share Index: 5,359.94 points, down 4.87 points, or 0.09 percent;

Total Turnover: 79.67 billion yuan (12.65 billion U.S. dollars).
