China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange closed at 2,301.26 points on Wednesday, up 3.59 points, or 0.16 percent, from the previous close.

A Share Index: 2,408.70 points, up 3.76 points, or 0.16 percent;

B Share Index: 268.86 points, up 0.32 points, or 0.12 percent;

Total Turnover: 85.71 billion yuan (13.60 billion U.S. dollars).
