The Shenzhen Component Index on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange closed at 8,889.7 points on Friday, down 0.78 percent, or 69.49 points.

A Share Index: 9,884.84 points, down 77.27 points, or 0.78 percent;

B Share Index: 5,292.43 points, down 35.19 points, or 0.66 percent;

Total Turnover: 62.63 billion yuan (9.94 billion U.S. dollars).
