3. Youku and Tudou

China's Internet video giant Youku partnered with its previous rival Tudou as the two firms combined their services in a 100 percent stock-for-stock transaction to create a new service, Youku Tudou Inc., after getting approval from the US Securities and Exchange Commission and the companies' shareholders.
