'Disneyland of Engineering' gets Chinese investment

A British firm that acquired the nickname 'Disneyland of Engineering' has received a massive boost from Chinese investors.
Gilo Industries Group is one of the UK's most exciting design and engineering companies.
Amongst its product list is the 'world's first practical flying car' (pictured above), extraordinary paragliders, and components of aircraft and engines.
What's even more extraordinary is that Dorest-based company was founded under twenty years ago by an eighteen year old.
It specialises in aircraft-related technologies, although also has an interest in motorbike racing, and technologies that can be applies across multiple industries.
The deal will see Kuang-Chi science of Shenzhen buy a minority stake in the firm.
Inward investment into UK businesses has been on the rise in recent months, helped by a decline in the value of the British pound since the vote to leave the European Union in June.
This has led to some commentators hailing the investments as showing confidence in the British economy, whilst others have become concerned at the rising level of foreign investment.
