The 2017 Asian Business Leadership Forum (ABLF) was held at the Armani Hotel in Dubai on Nov. 22, 2017, with over 200 business representatives from home and abroad participating.

With a theme of "The evolving face of Asia: The rise of future-focused leadership", the forum made an in-depth discussion on topics such as global environment and sustainable development, the development and utilization of renewable energy, humanitarian work, the improvement of education and health in Asia, the disruption of the financial ecosystem and so on.

Cai Chunyan, director of the Bank of China Dubai branch, was invited to attend the forum and received the "ABLF Rising Star Award”. He was the only Chinese-born entrepreneur to win this award. Adhering to the principle of "integrity, responsibility, professionalism and innovation", Cai and the Bank of China Dubai branch have made outstanding contributions to infrastructure construction, energy, education and medical treatment in this region.

The award demonstrated that the Bank of China Dubai branch had always been striving for becoming the best bank by undertaking its due social responsibility. The branch has been committed to developing green finance and improving people's livelihood to make the financial sector truly drive the development of the real economy.

The ABLF is sponsored by the UAE Ministry of Economy from 2007. The forum provides a platform for communication, strengthened exchanges and cooperation, and also honors Asian entrepreneurs who have made outstanding contributions in all sectors.
