The ninth Sino-European Entrepreneurs Summit, organized by the Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation, concluded on June 9 after a weeklong session in France and Switzerland.
Starting June 3, the SEES attracted more than 400 politicians, scholars and business leaders from China and Europe, who shared views on exploring commercial opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiative.
Attendees also held in-depth discussions on how to enhance business synergy and co-development between China and Europe, accelerate the transformation of the manufacturing industry, promote innovative cooperation in the financial sector, and intensify partnerships between Chinese, European and African enterprises.
The EU is China's largest trade partner as well as being a source of methodology and an important investment partner. As China celebrates the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up, more opportunities are expected to emerge for Sino-European cooperation.
The SIEF will hold a parallel summit for Chinese and Australian entrepreneurs in Sydney and Melbourne in September.
