The time for the trains running from Beijing South Railway Station to Tianjin Railway Station has been reduced from 35 minutes to 30 minutes, while the ticket price remains the same.

Following the speed increase, more trains have been added to the line. The number of train-car pairs has been increased by about 25 percent.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Beijing-Tianjin line.
