The 2018 Belt and Road Advertising Cooperation Conference (BRAC) co-sponsored by the China Advertising Association and Harbin municipal government was held in the north China city on Sept. 28, resulting in the signing of a series of agreements and memoranda on strategic cooperation.

Zhang Guohua, president of the China Advertising Association (CAA), in his keynote speech, said the BRAC was the first conference held by the Chinese advertising industry specifically designed to promote cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

Zhang hoped the event could provide a platform for the Chinese advertising industry to seek mutual learning and win-win cooperation with foreign counterparts.

He also encouraged attendees to promote communication among the countries and regions working under the BRI framework to promote the development of the advertising industry, and build a mechanism for the exchange of advertising information and resources.
