The World Trade Organization on Monday decided to investigate the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration on Chinese goods worth 250 billion U.S. dollars.

The decision was made by WTO's Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) as China said these tariffs are harming China's interests in economy and trade as well as posing a systemic challenge to global multilateral trading system.
