The most advanced networking and artificial intelligence technologies from Huawei, Haier, and other leading manufacturers from China are on show at the Hanover Fair, the world's largest industrial exhibition, in Germany. The five-day exhibition opened on Sunday with 6,500 exhibitors from 75 countries and regions displaying their latest industrial technologies.

The Hanover Fair highlights the industrial use of 5G and artificial intelligence (AI), laying the ground work for the future of manufacturing, Koeckler Jochen, the chairman of the managing board for the trade fair, said on its opening day.

Over 1,400 exhibitors from China are at the fair, the largest national contingent after the host country.

Huawei is showcasing its new 5G solution LampSite. It is also launched its intelligent computing platform Atlas for the first time in Western Europe. And Haier has brought its industrial Internet platform COSMOPlat to Germany. First launched in 2017, the platform can be used to deliver solutions in a wide range of industrial sectors including smart logistics.
