​Changsha holds press briefing on construction equipment expo

A press briefing was held on the 2019 Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (CICEE 2019) in Changsha on May 14.

CICEE 2019 signed 1,150 exhibitors with a total exhibition area of 213,000 square meters. Twenty-four engineering machinery enterprises out of the world's top 50 are participating in the exhibition, including Caterpillar, Casece, Hitachi Construction Machinery, Liebherr, Lovol Heavy Industry, Volvo, Sany Heavy Industry, Zoomlion Heavy Industry, Sunward Intelligent Equipment Group, and China Railway Construction Heavy Corporation. Among the top 50 manufacturing enterprises gathering at Changsha, four of them are from Hunan, signifying the emergence of the region's heavy machinery capabilities. 

Yin Linbo, inspector of the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, introduced the four main characteristics of CICEE 2019. Yin said CICEE 2019 gathered the countries along the Belt and Road and the key construction projects in central and western China, providing sustainable and important business opportunities for the development of construction machinery industry; secondly, Changsha construction machinery is the main battlefield of China's "manufacturing power" strategy; thirdly, CICEE 2019 is under a distinct theme of "creating and sharing the bright future of intelligent new generation construction machinery together"; and finally, CICEE 2019 promotes the opening up of the interconnection of the entire industrial chain of the world's construction machinery.
