2019 Big Data Expo to Open in Guiyang

China International Big Data Industry Expo 2019 (aka the 2019 Big Data Expo) will be held from May 26 to 29 in Guiyang, capital of southwest China's Guizhou province.

The expo, fifth of its kind, to be jointly hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Cyberspace Administration and the Guizhou Provincial People's Government, is expected to welcome more than 400 exhibitors and over 100,000 visitors.

More than 100 overseas companies from 21 countries, including Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, India, Singapore, Israel, and Canada, have confirmed their presence.

Over the years, the expo, focusing closely on advances in big data development, has featured many famed enterprises, technological achievements and new ideas, new perspectives and new thinking within the industry.

During this year's expo, Morocco will be invited as a guest country to showcase its achievements in big data development and share its technology with other countries.

Apart from guest country events, a series of other activities will be rolled out, including those featuring "big data plus poverty alleviation" and the five-year retrospective of big data development.
