The founder of Hong Kong's Henderson Land Development Company Limited, Lee Shau-kee, will retire from the position of Chairman and Managing Director of the company, the company announced on Monday.
Lee Shau-kee's two sons, Lee Ka Kit and Lee Ka Shing, have been appointed as Joint Chairmen and Managing Directors of the company.
According to the announcement, the decision will take effect at the conclusion of the annual general meeting of the company to be held on May 28.
Founded in 1976 by Lee Shau-kee, and listed in Hong Kong since 1981, Henderson Land is one of the largest business entities in Hong Kong with businesses in Hong Kong and throughout the Chinese mainland. The company's properties include The International Finance Centre complex in Hong Kong and the World Financial Centre in Beijing.
