Wine expo reaps 3.4-bln-yuan trading in SW China

A four-day international liquor and wine expo in southwest China's Guizhou Province realized transactions of 3.43 billion yuan (484 million U.S. dollars), organizers said.

The 9th China (Guizhou) International Liquor and Wine Expo closed in Guiyang, the provincial capital, on Thursday.

The expo attracted more than 2,000 exhibitors from 45 countries including Italy, France, Canada, Spain, the United States, Chile, Argentina and Israel, and 21,600 buyers.

Guizhou is home to Kweichow Moutai, one of China's leading liquor brands.
