China Southern Airlines and British Airways have inked a joint business agreement at the Beijing Daxing International Airport to enhance customer benefits.

The agreement, effective on Jan. 2, 2020, marks the first joint operation between the two country's aviation markets.

The cooperation covers code-sharing, lounge service and frequent flyer benefits.

British Airways is the first international airline to transfer all its Beijing operations to the Beijing Daxing International Airport, the Chinese capital's new landmark airport that opened in September.
