CSCEC holds video conferences with overseas subsidiaries on COVID-19

On Feb. 18 and 19, China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) held video conferences in Beijing with its overseas subsidiaries to discuss measures against COVID-19 and stabilizing overseas operations. Vice President Zhou Yong attended the conferences and delivered speech and instructions.
After receiving updates from the subsidiaries on measures for epidemic prevention and control, Zhou gave praise to their efforts and efficiencies, extended greetings to overseas staff, and stressed the importance of balancing sensible precautions and stable operations.
Zhou instructed the subsidiaries to strengthen their accountability systems, step up the screening of personnel dispatches, and impose strict measures of quarantine for people traveling between countries. He also required them to thoroughly disinfect construction sites and employee accommodations, and meanwhile, fulfill project obligations and carry on business with enhanced coordination and concerted actions.
The conferences were convened via video and attended by officials of the CSCEC headquarters. Also present were officials of overseas subsidiaries and divisions, project leaders, and employee representatives.
