On Mar. 10, China Construction America, a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, was selected to perform preconstruction services for Brickell Firestation in Miami, Florida. This mixed-use tower, at the cost of more than US$400 million, will cover a total area of 214,000 square meters and rise to about 229 meters in height.

Located on the west side of the Brickell Avenue in downtown Miami, the project will contain 1,000 apartments for rent, 175 small residential units, and a 176-room hotel. The residents and hotel guests of the building will also benefit from facilities such as over 8,361 square meters of fitness and entertainment areas, approximately 23,000 square meters of office space, about 450 square meters of retail spaces, and 1,600 parking spaces.

The project plan also includes the reconstruction of the City of Miami Department of Fire-Rescue at the current site, and these comprehensive facilities that integrate residential, working, and entertainment uses will bring local residents a fresh and convenient living experience.
