Witness happiness: CSCEC launches cloud open day series

China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) launched a cloud open day event series called "Witness Happiness" in Beijing on Aug. 27.
The event series comprises virtual open days in 29 cities in 14 countries over three months. More than 40 sub-events will be held, including cloud open day for CSCEC projects, livestream sales of agricultural products, and local people presenting CSCEC from abroad.
The event aims to recount the stories of the company's commitment to building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, helping people to escape poverty, preventing and controlling the COVID-19 pandemic for its projects at home and abroad, and supporting its employees around the world to improve their lives.
CSCEC released a series of videos for the event during the launch ceremony. The featured video for its projects' virtual open day, titled "China Speed," tells the story about the company's effort to build Huoshenshan and Leishenshan, two makeshift hospitals in Wuhan, within just 10 and 12 days. Another video for the open day details the company's efforts to develop new infrastructure. CSCEC employees also share stories about the company's projects in Egypt's Central Business District in a video. In addition, a video was released to show that the company has worked to fulfill its corporate social responsibility and help people escape poverty in northwest China's Gansu province.
