CSCEC's second board of directors holds 43rd meeting

On Aug. 27, the 43rd meeting of the second board of directors of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) was held in Beijing. The "CSCEC Interim Report 2020" and other proposals were reviewed and passed at the meeting. 

The directors had a thorough discussion on the proposals and put forward constructive comments and suggestions. They fully appreciated the company's performance in the first half of the year, during which time the value of CSCEC's newly signed contracts reached 1.51 trillion yuan, up 5.2% year on year. The revenue rose 6.2% year on year to 728.2 billion yuan, and the profit grew 4.3% year on year to 43.8 billion yuan. CSCEC's production and operation maintained a favorable trend.

Zhou Naixiang, chairman of CSCEC, said in his speech that under the leadership of the board of directors and the joint efforts of all employees, the company withstood tough challenges, did a good job in pandemic prevention and control, made progress in production and operation, derived fruitful results from strategic planning, fulfilled social responsibilities, and achieved remarkable results in all aspects in the first half of the year. In the second half of the year, CSCEC will continue to seize development opportunities, ensure implementation of work plans, coordinate pandemic prevention and control and production and operation, promote higher-quality development of the company, create more value, and strive to reward the investors.

The heads of the Office of Board of Directors, the Finance and Capital Department, the Financial Operations Department, and the Audit Bureau also attended the meeting.
