At the end of this month, a new Huairou-Miyun CRH train will be introduced to Beijing North Railway Station and put into operation before Oct. 1, China's National Day holiday. To mark the occasion, a special edition pink version of the Huairou-Miyun CRH train was unveiled ahead of schedule.

With the approaching National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, scenic spots along the suburban Huairou-Miyun railway such as Yanqi Lake, Hongluo Temple, Qinglong Gorge, Gubei Water Town, and the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall are set to welcome visitors from all over the country. The new Huairou-Miyun CRH trains will undoubtedly be a pleasant surprise for tourists and are recognizable not only for their pink color but also for being a mini version of the regular CRH train and is composed of only four carriages.

Though smaller, the new trains can still carry many passengers without sacrificing the comfort and spacious cabin. The new model, which combines advantages of high-speed rail and metro carriages, has features such as double doors, large-width corridors, and low-density seats. The seats are arranged in a "2+2" manner, with four seats in each row, for a total of 226 seats. Meanwhile, the aisles are spacious, allowing for easy access.

Additionally, the Huairou-Miyun CRH trains are equipped with numerous advanced technologies, including Wi-Fi with a 5G interface and facilities such as PIS integrated video devices for both entertainment and monitoring purposes, as well as electrical sockets for each seat and barrier-free toilets.

The new Huairou-Miyun CRH trains will depart from Beijing North Station, which can be conveniently accessed by transferring to Xizhimen Station by subway.
