CSCEC receives multiple awards from BRI Short Video Competition

The second Belt & Road Initiative (BRI) Short Video Competition, organized by the China Public Diplomacy Association, the Press Center of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and huanqiu.com, announced the winners recently. Out of more than 500 entries from over 80 countries, eight videos from CSCEC received awards in multiple categories. 

Under the theme of "Act in Solidarity," this year's competition selected exceptional stories of building a community with a shared future for mankind from the perspective of the people working in overseas construction projects.

Of the eight award-winning videos submitted by CSCEC, "Hope" and "Homecoming" received the Creative Award, "Egypt. Dream" received the Excellent Editing Award, "Our Days in Egypt" received the Exceptional Contribution Award, "Monologue by a Pakistan Employee" received the Viewer's Choice Award, "Vlog - A Safety Officer's Day in Dubai" received the Fighting COVID-19 Award, "Construction of Cambodia National Stadium" received the Overseas Viewer's Choice Award, and "'Interpreters' under the Blazing Sun" received the Most Influential BRI Constructors Award.

The excellent entries are all available on Kuaishou, the exclusive voting platform of the competition. Together they have received more than 300 million views on Chinese and overseas platforms including Douyin, Bilibili, Tencent Video, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok. These entries have received nearly 50 million views on overseas platforms.
