China's express delivery giant SF Holding reported notable revenue growth in its core business in October, according to a report the company filed to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

Last month, SF Holding saw its express delivery revenue rise 34.22 percent from a year earlier to stand at about 12.06 billion yuan (about 1.83 billion U.S. dollars).

The business volume of the Shenzhen-based courier increased 57.31 percent year on year to 689 million pieces of mail.

During the same period, the company's supply chain business revenue came to 649 million yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 28.77 percent.

China's courier sector bore the brunt of the COVID-19 outbreak at the beginning of 2020, but it continues to rebound as the epidemic wanes.
