The event was hosted by YunHe (Zhejiang) Technology Group, with support from the China Society for the Promotion of Science & Technology Commercialization and the Research Institute of Machinery Industry Economic & Management, together with several other research institutes and authorities.

Against the backdrop of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and a global economic slowdown, the forum participants analyzed the current and future trends of artificial intelligence applications.

Participants noted that with the rapid development of the Internet of Things, AI, the industrial internet, 5G, cloud computing, big data, blockchain and Industry 4.0, the integration of information and innovation infrastructures will inject new momentum into social development. They also agreed that intelligent medical care and smart communities will play a key role in the social service system in the future.

"The aim of smart services is to promote the intelligent upgrading of enterprises, industries, cities and society, by leveraging applications of the latest scientific and technological achievements," Shi Yide, chairman of YunHe Technology Group, said in his keynote speech.

"In the context of the global threat of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as new technological revolutions, industrial changes and community governance innovations, YunHe will live up to its expectations by promoting the innovative development of China’s smart services, and continue contributing to social wellbeing.”

YunHe Medical, a subsidiary of YunHe Group, is now a leading provider of intelligent medical care solutions in China. Its core competitiveness lies in the implementation of its intelligent ward escort system, which integrates clinical information with blockchain and IoT technologies, intelligent ward beds, tailor-made software and built-in folding bedside tables. The system can automatically collect patients' information including their electrocardiogram signal, blood pressure and blood oxygen, and realize smart management of infusions, medical imaging, urine volume monitoring and information integration.

It can also connect to all aspects of the hospital, including patient relationship management, electronic medical records, hospital resource planning, scientific research information management as well as regional medical information systems.

At present, YunHe Medical has established partnerships with hundreds of hospitals in dozens of provinces across China by providing its intelligent ward escort system solutions. Its major clients, Xi'an International Medical Center and the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, have all adopted the system.
