The 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will be held in Beijing in September. So far, 55 international organizations have confirmed in written forms to attend the fair, organizers said Wednesday.

The venues this year will include the Shougang Industrial Park in addition to the China National Convention Center, where the event was usually held previously.

The CIFTIS is the world's largest comprehensive exhibition in the field of global trade in services and one of China's three major exhibition platforms featuring the country's opening-up, with the other two being China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) and China International Import Expo.

Amid the pandemic, this major international economic and trade event will be held both online and offline.

Countries and regions with developed trade in services, such as Thailand, Australia, and Ireland, will continue holding exhibitions in the fair this year, and many organizations will join as new participants, such as the Nordic Innovation Center and Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
