Daxing offers new coupons to spur consumer spending

Beijing's Daxing district started to offer a new batch of coupons on Thursday to boost consumer spending.
The coupons can be used in key business areas in the district, as well as with other retailors for food, clothing, furniture, home appliances, and electronics and digital products.
People can get three 10-yuan (US$1.53) and three 100-yuan coupons on the "xingfumall" WeChat account.
A 10-yuan coupon can be used for a transaction of up to 50 yuan, and a 100-yuan coupon can be used for a transaction of up to 1,000 yuan. Up to three coupons of the same value can be combined for a single transaction.
In addition, the district is encouraging its main commercial blocks and large commercial complexes to carry out more activities to stimulate consumer spending.
