The Beijing book market this year opened in Chaoyang Park on Friday, and will run till May 24. The main venue of the book market covers 10,000 square meters, with nine exhibition areas featuring book stores, reading zones, parent-child areas, fashion, arts, and so on. 

To celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the event has rich content about the Party and the society's underlying values, including the Party's history, the appreciation of Party-related culture in Beijing, etc. 

Book stores in the market have not only prepared various books and cultural and creative products, but also organized activities to engage with more readers to boost participation. 

Apart from Chaoyang Park, citizens can experience the event through bookstores, cultural parks, and district-level libraries as well, according to a person in charge.
